Use Case 2
Use Case 2
Swarm-Intelligent Multi-Robot Interaction Over Private Pre-6G Networks
End User / Validation Environment
Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV)

The second Agentic6G use case demonstrates how a multi-agent Agentic-AI framework enables swarm-intelligent collaboration between heterogeneous robots operating over private pre-6G networks. The demonstrator will be deployed and validated in UPV’s B5G testbed in Valencia, combining cloud-edge computing with private 5G connectivity.
Vehicle-type and quadruped robots will collaborate as an intelligent swarm, combining complementary capabilities for mobility, payload transport, terrain access, perception and mission execution.
Validation Scenario
The demonstrator will validate autonomous swarm operation in demanding vertical applications, including:
- Public protection and disaster response
- Industrial inspection
- Flexible logistics
- Collaborative manufacturing
Key Components
The Agentic6G framework enables:
- Autonomous task decomposition
- Dynamic swarm coordination
- Shared short-term and long-term memory
- Connectivity optimisation
- Edge-based orchestration
- Intent-driven service execution
- Self-healing and self-scaling capabilities
Edge orchestration agents translate high-level intents into executable tasks, while network optimisation agents dynamically adapt communication resources to support ultra-low-latency control and high-bandwidth sensing.
Expected Outcomes
The demonstrator will validate Agentic6G’s ability to:
- Enable adaptive, resilient and scalable AI-driven vertical applications
- Improve autonomous swarm coordination and collaboration
- Optimise network resource utilisation
- Support ultra-low-latency autonomous operations
- Increase the robustness and scalability of heterogeneous robotic systems
