Agentic-AI for Zero-Touch Service Assurance in Multi-Vendor Telecom Networks

The first Agentic6G use case demonstrates how an Agentic-AI framework enables zero-touch service assurance within a realistic multi-vendor telecom environment. The demonstrator will be deployed and validated in Orange Romania’s B5G testbed in Bucharest, integrating radio, transport, core, cloud-native and edge infrastructure from multiple technology vendors.
Validation Scenario
The framework will be evaluated under realistic operational conditions, including:
- Fibre optic failures
- Power outages
- DDoS attacks targeting cloud-native services
- Network equipment failures
These scenarios will assess the ability of intelligent agents to autonomously monitor network conditions, detect service degradation, identify root causes, and execute corrective actions with minimal human intervention.
Key Components
The Agentic6G platform enables collaboration among specialised AI agents, including:
- Intent-based agents
- Software development agents
- Security expert agents
- Self-protection agents
- Network optimisation agents
- Post-quantum security components
These agents interact through standardised interfaces and APIs to support autonomous monitoring, anomaly detection, service assurance and response orchestration across the telecom infrastructure.
Expected Outcomes
The demonstrator will validate Agentic6G’s ability to:
- Reduce operational effort through autonomous service management
- Improve service reliability and continuity
- Strengthen cyber resilience and network protection
- Enable intelligent service assurance across RAN, edge, core and cloud domains
- Support scalable and efficient operation of complex multi-vendor telecom networks
