Agentic6G at EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026

Agentic6G participated in the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to next-generation communication networks, contributing to the special session “Agentic AI Framework for 6G.”

The project was represented by Prof. Jose M. Alcaraz Calero and Luís Cordeiro, highlighting Agentic6G’s active contribution to Europe’s evolving 6G research and innovation landscape.

During the session, Prof. Jose M. Alcaraz Calero presented the Agentic6G vision for using Agentic AI to support more intelligent, autonomous and trustworthy future communication networks.

The discussion explored how Agentic AI can contribute to the evolution of Beyond-5G and 6G through technologies such as:

  • autonomous multi-agent systems;
  • federated intelligence;
  • continuous assurance;
  • explainable AI; and
  • intelligent and resilient network management.

These capabilities are central to the Agentic6G approach. The project is developing a multi-agent Agentic-AI framework designed to support autonomous network and service management across future 6G environments. By combining Agentic AI, multi-agent systems and AgenticOps, Agentic6G aims to enable advanced self-organising capabilities that improve network resilience, security, scalability and operational efficiency.

Participation in EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026 also provided an important opportunity to engage with the wider Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) community, exchange perspectives with other 6G initiatives and strengthen collaboration across Europe’s research and innovation ecosystem.

Through activities such as this, Agentic6G continues to contribute to the development of intelligent, secure and AI-native communication networks for the 6G era.
