Powering AI-Native Beyond-5G and 6G

Future Beyond-5G and 6G networks are expected to evolve into AI-native infrastructures capable of supporting highly dynamic services across the device–edge–cloud continuum. These environments will require intelligent and autonomous mechanisms for service composition, orchestration, and lifecycle management, enabling networks to adapt in real time to changing operational conditions, service demands, and application requirements.

Multi-Agent Systems

While multi-agent systems offer strong potential for distributed decision-making, scalable automation, and intelligent coordination, their integration into telecommunications environments remains limited by challenges related to orchestration complexity, interoperability, resilience, security, and operational management across heterogeneous infrastructures.

Introducing the AgenticOps Paradigm

Agentic6G addresses these challenges by introducing an Agentic AI-based multi-agent framework designed to enable autonomous collaboration between distributed agents and support the lifecycle management of intelligent services through the AgenticOps paradigm. By combining knowledge-driven reasoning, hybrid orchestration, and self-organising capabilities, including spontaneous agent generation, self-healing, and auto-scaling, the project contributes to enabling trustworthy, resilient, and scalable distributed intelligence for future 6G ecosystems.

Through this approach, Agentic6G supports the transition towards autonomous AI-native network operation and contributes to addressing key challenges related to scalability, resilience, orchestration, trustworthiness, and efficient management of next-generation communication infrastructures.
